Job description

As Sales Manager you will hunt for new opportunities in your region and secure business at a commercial and technical acceptable risk level. You recognize leads and will develop these into new (sales) opportunities and position NEM Energy in the market worldwide.


NEM is working in a complex business to business market, in a project based environment. We strive to embody perseverance, creativity, with a strong focus on customer’s satisfaction. We are working with multimillion Euro projects. You will be supported by the proposal team and motivate them to make your sales strategy on these projects to a success.

In close cooperation between Marketing, Business Development, Sales and Bid Management, we work together as a strong team focusing on the results while we maintain a very pleasant working atmosphere.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

  • Expand the business with active clients with our latest products and developments
  • Create business with new clients and in new sectors, benefiting from the energy transition ongoing around the globe
  • Act as a trusted advisor for specific clients and/or business fields
  • Define and control the end-to-end sales strategy for your region, your accounts and responsibilities
  • Leading and responsible for the project proposal team, ensure that your strategy will make us secure the projects
  • Support the strategic developments and financial planning of the company


Candidate requirements

  • Technical education at bachelor or master’s degree
  • Proven experience in sales of complex tailor made products in a B2B environment
  • You’re a hunter and see opportunities earlier than others do, supported by your personal network
  • Preferably sales experience within the MENA Region
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales, account management or business development role
  • Decisive, passionate, pragmatic and analytically strong
  • You know how to motivate people and get them on board of your strategy
  • Advanced level of English, verbally and in writing
  • Fluent level in Arabic is nice to have
  • Able to work with a mix of cultures and nationalities
  • Willing to travel abroad approx. 25-40% of the year
