Bid Manager

With your technical knowledge and commercial awareness, you will be preparing HRSG proposals and negotiating contracts in the worldwide marketplace. In close cooperation with the assigned Sales Manager, you as Bid Manager you will be responsible to ensure the best design, most fitting technical proposal and lowest possible costs are put forward.

Key skills & responsibilities

· Assessing the customer’s requests/RFQ

. Maintaining the proposal roadmap

. Performing the proposal engineering (equipment, noise, emissions, etc)

. Guiding the assigned proposal team members (performance, layout, E&I, etc)

. Ensuring feasibility of the offered solution

. Compiling the technical proposal and its cost calculation

· Negotiating scope and requirements with customers

· Handing over to project execution (technical contract, design, scope and cost)

Candidate requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Process Engineering or Energy related subjects

· 5+ year experience working as an Engineer or any similar work-experience, in an international B2B environment

· Fluent in English and preferably German language
