Job description

As Project Manager at our NEM location in Recklinghausen you will lead our Exhaust & Diverter Solutions (EDS) projects from start to finish and make sure that the projects runs smoothly and is align with our NEM goals.


With your “can-do” mentality, excellent communication skills, drive for successful project completion and passion for engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our high-value projects and ensure that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. To make this happen you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team from various departments such as Sales, Engineering, Supply and Finance. You will report directly to the Head of Project Management.

Job requirements

Key skills & responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the EDS projects from start to finish

  • Act as point of contact for internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers

  • Responsible to set up and monitor KPI’s and making sure it is met by the team

  • Review and assess customer needs and specifications

  • Translate project-specific requirements into your own specifications

  • Ensure that financial results are being realized

  • In collaboration with Supply and Subcontracting, select suitable suppliers for your projects

  • Monitor and report the financial performance or your projects

  • Lead your projects cost effective, identify claim potential and strive for optimized project results


Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical/Process Engineering or Energy related subjects

  • 5 years’ experience working as a Project Manager or any similiar workxperience, preferably in the Energy (Transformation) / Power industry / Plant engineering

  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Knowledge of MS Project, AutoCad/3D Programs such as Inventor

  • Experience leading project-teams with a track record of delivering high-results in a fast-paced international (project) environment

  • Fluent level of English and German in speaking and in writing
