Job description

As a Project Manager Services, you play a key-role in managing our service projects. The projects at our Service department are very divers, think of retrofits, upgrades, organizing inspections and revamps etc.

You will serve as the point of contact for clients and stakeholder, (i.e. suppliers, in‑house engineers and external inspection partners) provide regular updates and progress reports and manage stakeholder expectations and feedback

 to make sure the project is run smoothly from beginning to end.

 

In this role you work in close collaboration with the Project Engineer to gain technical input. Besides this your role as Project Manager Services encompass a range of responsibilities focused on planning, executing, and closing projects effectively and efficiently. You ensure that a project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting the desired quality standards.

Job requirements

Key Skills & Responsibilities

•          Manage several service related projects (short‐term 4–7 months each) simultaneously—from routine inspections to complex mechanical modifications.

•          Act as the central point of contact, coordinating efforts between clients, engineers, project engineers, Supply Chain colleagues and specialized inspection contractors.

•          Monitor project budget control costs and ensure financial targets are met.

•          Monitor and manage project planning.

•          Early involvement in the proposal phase.

•          Risk mitigation, identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

•          Proactively resolve project issues to prevent delays or disruptions

•          Coordinate inspections with clients.

  

 

Candidate requirements

•          Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

•          3+ years of experience, preferably in the Heat Recovery Steam Generation (HRSG) business as an Project Manager or similar role.

•          Experience working in an international project management environment.

•          Passionate about project work, demonstrating proactive problem-solving, ownership, and a strong commitment to d delivering high-quality outcomes, with a strong drive for achieving results.

•          A team player with excellent collaboration skills who thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. You should be comfortable sharing responsibilities, supporting colleagues, and contributing to collective goals.

•          Taking ownership and responsibility throughout the project.

•          Willingness to travel internationally a few times per year.
