Job description

As Sales Manager you will hunt for new opportunities in your region and secure business at a commercial and technical acceptable risk level. You recognize leads and will develop these into new (sales) opportunities and position NEM Energy in the market worldwide. You can build long term relations with clients and partners to create new business.

 

NEM is working in a complex business to business market, in a project-based environment. We strive to embody perseverance, creativity, with a strong focus on customer’s satisfaction. We are working with multimillion Euro projects with the interesting associated challenges. Together with your proposal team you will make your sales strategy on these projects to a success.

 

In close cooperation between Marketing, Business Development, Sales and Bid Management, we work together as a strong team focusing on the results while we maintain a very pleasant working atmosphere.

Job requirements

Key Skills & Responsibilities

•          Expand the business with active clients, with our latest products and developments

•          With your hunter’s mentality you spot new opportunities earlier than others do, supported by your personal network

•          Create business with new clients and in new sectors, benefiting from the energy transition ongoing in Europe

•          Act as a trusted advisor for specific clients and/or business fields

•          You know how to lead and motivate the project team and get them on board of your strategy

•          Define and control the start-to-end sales strategy for your region, your accounts, and responsibilities

•          Support the strategic developments and financial planning of the company

 

Candidate requirements

•                     Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering or any related technical education

•                     5+ years of experience in a sales manager or business development role

•                     Sales experience within the Europe region of complex tailor-made products in a B2B environment ( engineering field)

•                     Fluent in English, both speaking and writing

•                     Able to work with a mix of cultures and nationalities

•                     Willing to travel abroad approx. 25-40% of the year
