Job description

As Logistics Project Coordinator at NEM Energy, you are responsible for the logistical process for our heat recovery steam generators and associated equipment manufactured around the world. Your responsibility is that you will ensure on-time and on-budget deliveries to our customers.

 

In this role, you will work closely with customers, the project teams, the Procurement department, suppliers and our Export Control & Customs colleagues to ensure seamless coordination. You will report directly to the Logistics Manager.

Job requirements

Key Skills & Responsibilities

•            Prepare all documentation required for logistics operations—including BOL, invoices, customs instructions, and certificates of origin—and coordinate with relevant stakeholders (customers, project teams, procurement, suppliers, and Export Control & Customs) to resolve operational issues.

•            Responsible for calculating logistic costs for international projects.

•            Ability to read and understand project logistics packing and marking specifications

•            Enter and process information promptly in the customer’s systems, ensuring smooth progression of the process through shipment.

•            Serve as the primary contact for external logistics and transport providers as well as customers, ensuring seamless operations and coordinating their activities to achieve cost-efficient and on-time delivery.

•            Calculate and implement logistics and transport contingency plans for current and upcoming deliveries.

•            Record and process claims or transport damages with the responsible parties to safeguard recourse opportunities and support the implementation of preventive measures.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Candidate requirements

•            Bachelor’s degree in Logistic Management, or equivalent study.

•            Knowledge of logistic documentation (import–export) requirements

•            Good understanding of Incoterms and their practical application on various multimodal means of transportation

•            Excellent time-management combined with administrative skills

•            Minimum 5 + years’ experience working within an international project-based environment, ensuring transparency of activities, close alignment with project execution teams, and perform consistently across multiple parallel projects

•            Able to manage time pressure, respond quickly, maintain structure and oversight, and set clear priorities.

•            Commitment to sharing best practices and actively contributing to the implementation of lessons learned

•            Proficiency in English, German, and Dutch, written and verbal

•            Willing to travel internationally if required (30-40%)
