With the right doses of experience in Management, Sales and Technical knowledge you will be the driving force in sales strategies, nurturing client relationship and managing the sales team to get them to the next level. As Manager Sales you will split your time between managing a Sales Team of eight Sales Managers and engaging directly in operational (Sales) activities.
Together with the Sales Managers and Proposal team you work together as a strong team, focusing on the results while maintaining a pleasant and safe working atmosphere. You are ensuring seamless execution of projects with success while supporting and guiding your team to meet organizational goals. With the departments marketing and business development and R&D, you will identify new products and markets for your business unit. You will work in close cooperation with the Managers Sales of the other Business units and you will be part of BU management and report to VP Sales.

Job requirements
Key Skills & Responsibilities
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve teams targets
• Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with NEM Energy's objectives
• Monitor team performance through KPIs and provide feedback on a regular basis
• Ensure effective collaboration between sales and proposal teams to optimize client satisfaction
• Actively participate in sales activities, including lead generation, client meetings, and contract negotiations
• Identify new opportunities and competitive positioning in the market
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities and project statuses
• Create bridges in and outside the company to boost the result of your team and the company
Candidate requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering or any related technical education
• Min. 5 year of experience in management or leadership role
• Sales experience within complex tailor-made products in a B2B environment ( engineering field) in a project management environment
• Fluent in English, both speaking and writing. Dutch is an advantage, more languages are a bonus
• Able to work with a mix of cultures and nationalities
• Willing to travel abroad approx. 25-35% of the year
